About the Reno Fiber Guild

The Reno Fiber Guild was established in 1972 to promote and encourage growth in weaving, spinning and related fiber techniques.  We welcome anyone who has an interest in these activities to join the guild.

Meetings are often held on first Wednesdays at 6:30PM at the South Valleys Library,  but some workshop days and special events will be at other locations or times. Check our Meeting and Fiber Event Calendar  here on the blog for specific information.  Annual Dues are $30 for individuals, $45.00 for families and $15 for students. New Members joining between January 31st and June 1st will pay 1/2 the applicable rate.  Membership entitles you to use the guild library, receive our newsletter, participate in the Conference of Northern California Handweavers, Sage Weavers meetings, study groups, workshops and the company of others sharing an interest in fiber.  We have a Yahoo group for members only.

If you are interested in a  synopsis of the history of the Reno Fiber Guild, an article was published in CNCHnet in 2/2016
